Postcard
campaign: As a way of engaging local people in campaigning
against
A.W.E, we
are designing a two part postcard to be delivered to as many
people as
possible within the area. One half explaining what is so
wrong
with A.W.E
Aldermaston and Burghfield, and the other half for them to
detach and
send off to register their own protest.
There will be
opportunities
to deliver these during the camp.
Please
bring: tent, sleeping stuff, disarmament tools (if you have
them),
action
ideas, creativity, inspiration, friends, and a positive
attitude.
The summer
camp at Aldermaston is an ideal opportunity to get actively
involved in
campaigning against nuclear weapons.
The camp offers all
the
skills,
tools and support you need to carry out peaceful actions, with
follow up
legal support where necessary. Take
the next step towards a
peaceful
world……..
Food is
organised on a communal basis and we ask for a donation.
Please
don’t bring, or use: drugs, alcohol, a bad attitude. (or dogs
without
permission)
When you
arrive at the camp please register and sign up for one of the
work
groups to
help the camp run smoothly. THANKS!
